Somerville elected to FCM again Wards 1 and 2 Halton Regional Councillor Clark Somerville has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. He was elected to the oneyear term at the FCM annual general meeting in Halifax recently. Somerville was one of 15 seeking 11 Ontario positions. Somerville is hoping to continue his work on the FCM's Rural Forum and Social Economic Development committees. He would also like to sit on the Municipal Finance and Intergovernmental Arrangements Committee. PIC's provide the community with the opportunity to provide their input at key stages in the study. The first PIC was held on February 10, 2011 to present and discuss the Problems and Opportunities, as well as, the background and purpose of the study. The second PIC will be held as follows: Comments and information regarding this project are collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and to assist the project team in meeting the requirements of the Class EA process.
