Residents scare off intruders Residents of a home in the 11000 block of emergency numbers on the Fifth Line in Limehouse were awoken by thieves removing merchandise early Monday morning. Entry was gained through unlocked doors in the garage and then the house as an unknown number of suspects were heard making noise on the ground floor by the sleeping residents at around 4 a.m. The homeowners apparently frightened off the intruders and several property items were found piled up at the point of entry. Suspects did manage to get away with an iMac computer, gift cards and a driver's licence. Items taken had a total worth estimated at $2,400. A neighbour told Halton Regional Police they heard a vehicle hurriedly drive away at approximately that time.
