School's out! But VBS and camps are just beginning Norval United Church is offering an expanded day camp program this summer. The Guelph St. congregation is offering its Fantastic Fun Friday program to children entering Senior Kindergarten through Grade 5 on July 8, 15, 22 and 29. The Fantastic Fun Friday program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features games, crafts, singing, videos and age appropriate faith education. Cost is $10 per child, per day. In addition to the Friday programs, Norval United Church is offering three weeks of full day programs (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), with extended hours available (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Eco Camp runs from August 2 to 5 and 15 to 19. Children will learn about environmental stewardship and visit the Willow Park Ecology Centre. Sports Camp runs from August 22 to 26 and teaches children the value of fair play and good sportsmanship. Day camps cost $50 per child, per week or $80 for extended hours.
