Dozens of Halton Hills residents and their four-legged canine friends met up at Lions Hall on May 29 to participate in the annual Purina Walk for Dog Guides. The Georgetown event, which took dogs and their owners on a scenic stroll through downtown Georgetown, was just one of many walks taking place across the country. One hundred per cent of the funds raised at this year's Walk for Dog Guides went directly to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, which provides dog guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities.
