In Focus, July, 2011 12 B^c\aZVcY8]Vi Surprise Tea After months of whispers, secrets and mysterious conversations, the grade 4/5 class at Halton Hills Christian School unveiled their "Secret Project" on June 3. Over the course of the school year, the students planned and put together a surprise afternoon tea for their principal, Mrs. Marianne Vangoor. With Mrs. Vangoor's friends and family in attendance, the students treated their principal to tea, treats and entertainment. Thank you, Mrs. Vangoor! Birthday hats were the headwear of choice at the Georgetown Seniors Centre on June 1 for the second annual Mingle and Chat Birthday Bash. The members of the Mingle and Chat group, which meets every Wednesday morning, celebrated a year's worth of birthdays with a big party where they snacked on cake, cookies and other sweet treats while playing games and entering a draw for a surprise birthday present. Happy birthday to all!
