Glen Williams was a sea of red and white on July 1 as hundreds of people packed the hamlet for the annual Canada Day in the Glen celebration. The day started bright and early with a pancake breakfast in the park, followed by a friendly baseball game. At noon, countless families lined the streets to catch the extremely popular Canada Day parade, then spent the rest of the afternoon celebrating with live music, games, demonstrations, delicious food and fun. The day was capped off with the Georgetown District High School swim team's Duck Race, which was sold out again this year.
