From the flags to the golf pros, the Club at North Halton was pretty in pink on July 5 for the club's annual Women's Member Guest Day. The club's female members and their guests enjoyed a fun day on the links, which was followed by a fashion show and raffles for a variety of prizes. This year's theme was Join the Pink ParTee and the golfers went all out with pink outfits and elaborate pink decorations for their golf carts. In Focus dropped by the Georgetown Fairgrounds last month to watch the players in the Kinsmen Girls Softball League take to the field. More than 100 girls between the ages of 5 and 19 play in the league's three divisions, which have games on Tuesday and Thursday nights throughout the summer.
