The four performers have formed a new vibrant piano quartet and will be presenting as their first performance together-- Faure's stirring Piano Quartet No.1 in C minor. This work is considered to be the Rachmaninoff of French music; deep, dark, and rich, says Greidanus. Faure wrote this for a student of his of whom he was deeply deeply in love, he said. Finch is no stranger to Georgetown having performed as a chamber musican and in the Georgetown Bach Chorale Baroque Chamber Orchestra.
