During the seven weeks he completed 46 successful flights, 16 of which were solo flights, and one cross-country solo. This included a diverted landing in a cornfield, bird strikes, forgetting to lock the passenger door prior to take off, and other disaster stories you don't like hearing. He also learned to fly out of an international airport dealing with commercial jet traffic and is now licensed to fly any single engine aircraft within Canada.
