Gallery Laura Weihs After getting a digital camera for a trip, I developed a love for photography. Cycling, hiking, birding and camping with my family and friends are other passions which provide many photo ops and on these outings, I wear the camera in a harness keeping it readily available. It's a big part of my life and has truly enhanced these experiences for me. I admire the beauty and simplicity of the natural world and like how looking through the lens allows me to focus on the intricate details of an image. What a wonderful way to celebrate my love of nature and all that is unique. Perhaps it's just an excuse to go out exploring somewhere new, amble down a trail, sit and reflect awhile by a pond and better yet capture those privileged moments with my camera so they can be revisited over and over again! Joining the Halton Hills Camera Club has been a fun and educational experience through which I'm learning to use my camera to achieve optimum results, this inspires me even more.
