One weekend only-- four performances 11 Globe to open Joseph on Friday at Milton centre By BOBBIE FLATT Georgetown Globe Productions Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is an all time favourite high energy musical. The story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Hebrew Bible's Book of Genesis. With music by Andrew Lloyd Weber and lyrics by Tim Rice cleverly telling the story of Joseph and his 11 brothers whose wives are supporting them all the way. You will be entertained with musical numbers such as Go Go Go Joseph, Close Every Door, Song of the King, Any Dream Will Do and Benjamin Calypso. Dancing and singing all the way from Canaan to Egypt 23 cast members and 22 young people in the children's choir will make you smile for days. To capture all the fun, you'll want to see this one twice. Returning to Globe from their overwhelming success of Jesus Christ Superstar are Globe Production's team of director Danny Harvey, musical director John Pugh and choreographer Renee Beiforte. With the John Elliott Theatre being closed for renovations, Globe Productions is taking Joseph the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to the new Performing Arts Centre 1010 Main Street East Milton for one weekend only, Nov. 11, 12, 13.
