26 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, November 17, 2011 It's Bazaar time at Georgetown Seniors Centre By FLORENCE RIEHL Georgetown Seniors Centre Always something new at the Centre! The lounge has been transformed into a café with tables and chairs and tablecloths. This is to accommodate the lunches now being served on Tuesday (sandwiches), Wednesday (hot meal), Thursday (soup and crackers), and Friday (pizza). Give me a minute and I am sure I can come up with something for Monday. How nice it is to have your lunch while you socialize with others. Lunches are served starting at 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. Beats eating at home alone and prices are affordable. Saturday, November 19 is Bazaar time at our Centre. Lots of items to choose from the craft and penny sale tables. Of course, you are looking to pick up some of the delectables from the bake table. You can select some reading material or puzzles to fill in the long winter nights that are coming. You know the expression- "if we ain't got it, you don't need it". Drop into the Tea Room for lunch. Tickets for the Christmas Dinner, Tuesday, December 13 are flying off the Reception Desk!
