"Ray Kroc said it best when he said that `none of us is as good as all of us', which applies as much to the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto as it does of McDonald's," said Timothy O'Connor, owner/operator in Georgetown (seen, above left, with Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Toronto, Jane Marco and McDonald's Canada Vice President Ontario Region, Sharon Ramalho). The new RMH Toronto will be located at 240 McCaul Street, just steps away from The Hospital for Sick Children and Mount Sinai Hospital. The new House is designed to meet the day-to-day needs of 81 families. It will feature 66 family bedrooms, 15 two-bedroom family suites, a common kitchen, purpose-built program spaces for our accredited private school and child-focused programming with abundant gardens and a playground, offering a healing connection to nature. This donation is the final amount needed to cover the construction costs to make the vision for a new House a reality. For more information on Ronald McDonald House Toronto visit www.rmhtoronto.org.
