Nagle, who was diagnosed with cancer five years ago, wanted to do something for CAShh (Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills) that had been so wonderful to her during her treatment, so instead of birthday gifts she asked for donations to the organization. The party, which had a Halloween theme in keeping with her Oct. 29 birthday, raised $13,600 for CAShh, and money continues to come in said Susan's sister Sharon. More than 300 family and friends came out. Employees at the TD Bank in Georgetown South were very supportive, hosting a bake sale that raised $1,300, and the bank's corporate head office donated another $5,000. Boston Pizza, Pizza Hut, Dominos and Little Ceasars donated pizza to serve at the party and the Knights of Columbus managed the bar free of charge.
