Skates Alive: Georgetown Skating Club cohosts the 2011 Skates Alive Midway West Area Competition at Mold-Masters SportsPlex, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Skates Alive is a prestigious event in the Skate Canada-Central Ontario calendar, and is sanctioned by COS Skate Canada. This annual event attracts over 300 skaters of all ages and abilities.
