He received his pilot training in Claresholm, AB, and Saskatoon, SK, and then served at various locations in the Maritimes until joining Air Canada in November 1967, retiring in 1992. A resident of Georgetown, ON since 1968, where he operated At-Home Vacuum Service for 27 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #120, Treasurer of the Georgetown District Seniors Centre for many years, Past President of the Retired Airline Pilots of Canada, served on the Air Canada Pionairs executive and the Common Front for Pension Splitting. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn (November 12th, 2011).
