Nominations being accepted for Georgetown Citizen of Year The Georgetown Lions Club is on the `hunt" looking for that special person, couple or organization that, through their volunteerism, is worthy to be named Georgetown's Citizen of the Year. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the award, which has been given to those who have made a significant contribution to the quality of life in Georgetown. The award can be given to an individual, couple, group or organization that has served our community as an outstanding volunteer, in sports, culture, health or social services. Many times the recipients have volunteered in multiple organizations over many years. To nominate an outstanding volunteer send a letter or use the application form and return it to Lions Club Citizen of the Year, P.O.
