Before heading off for the Christmas break, the students at Halton Hills Christian School celebrated the holiday season with the school's annual Christmas musical. The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey tells the tale of a sad, lonely woodcarver whose life suddenly changes with after a visit from a widow and her young son. The musical included group performances by all of the school's students, solos, live music from the school band and a piano, flute and violin quartet. Bravo! The Mold-Masters SportsPlex was packed to the rafters on January 8 when the Halton Hills Firefighters faced off against the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni in a charity hockey game. The hometown heroes ultimately lost to the former NHL-ers, including fan favourites like Rick Vaive and Lou Franceschetti, but a lot of fun was had along the way.
