Peewee Chargers nipped in final of Acton tourney Things didn't start off well for the Acton Sobey's Chargers at the Acton House League Hockey Association's annual tournament earlier this month as the hosts were beaten 6-0 by the Centre Wellington Fusion in the opening game of the peewee select divsion. But the Chargers found their stride and thanks in part to the goaltending of Jack Coulighan, won their next two games to earn a rematch with the Fusion in the championship game. Acton grabbed an early 3-0 lead on Centre Wellington, but the Fusion made a late charge and forced overtime on a goal with just 26 seconds Acton Chargers' goalkeeper Jack Coulighan corrals a loose puck in his crease with the help of defenceman Ben Armstrong during the opening game against Centre Wellington in the peewee select division of the recent annual Acton House League Hockey Association Tournament.
