Tuesday, March 20, 2012 HOME, LAWN & ENERGY The Independent & Free Press Special pullout section 8 Pages Rona growing to keep up with demand By ANDREA LEFEBVRE Advertising Features Writer Big changes are coming to Rona. The home improvement store, located in the Knolcrest Centre at 348 Guelph Street in Georgetown, is in the midst of a renovation project that will add 3,000 square-feet to the existing floor plan for a top-of-the-line kitchen and flooring boutique. "We are expanding by popular demand," says store manager Riley McAneney. " We want to thank our customers for the support they have shown us." The new kitchen and flooring boutique will include a kitchen design centre, as well as a variety of toilets, vanities and bathtubs on display, and flooring like ceramics, hardwood and laminate. The new addition is expected to be up and operating in early May. Rona, which opened in Georgetown a year ago, carries home improvement essentials like tools, lighting, plumbing, electrical, cleaning products, paint, hardware, lumber and building materials. Don't let the size of the location fool you: Rona Georgetown is owned by the same people who own three big Mississauga stores and provides pick up and delivery on anything Rona has to offer. "If you want something that we don't carry in the Georgetown store, we can get it and deliver it to you quickly," McAneney says. In addition to home improvement products, Rona Georgetown also offers a wide variety of services for homeowners and contractors. The store's professional staff can help with house and garage blueprinting, paint colour matching, deck and fence design, key cutting, door and window quoting services and installation services for kitchens, bathrooms, doors and windows. "We're bringing you a big box store in a small, hometown style," McAneney says. assistant manager Kevin McCafferty and sales team member For more information, visit www.rona.ca or Geri Raven.
