The celebration of policing in Halton will take place at 1151 Bronte Rd. from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., rain or shine with both indoor and outdoor venues offered. The event, themed Policing a Diverse and Inclusive Community, will see demonstrations from the Halton Police Tactical Rescue Unit, K-9 unit, and from the unmanned aerial vehicle used by the Forensic Identification Unit. The Halton Police Training Unit will also host a display. Lick's restauarant will host a barbecue. Young children will be able to visit the Children's Safety Village where they can try driving on a closed course while being taught important safety tips.
