The fourth-annual Kraft Celebration Tour is slated to run Aug. 17-26 when TSN will broadcast its flagship sports news program SportsCentre live in 10 communities across Canada in 10 days, with the winning entries also awarded $25,000 each towards improvements to a local recreation facility. Frost put together a short essay and submitted a photo of him with his three kids posing with the Stanley Cup here last December to illustrate why Georgetown deserves to be a part of the tour. So far, 82 communities have had their nominations accepted and the closing date is June 10. On July 1, the field will be whittled down to 20 towns and an on-line voting contest will begin on July 9 to determine the 10 winners. The University of Denver Pioneers and their junior midfielder from Georgetown, Cameron Flint, have the opportunity to reach the NCAA Division I final four in men's field lacrosse for the second straight year with a victory this weekend in Annapolis, Md. Standing in the way of the ninth-seeded Pioneers, however, is the nation's top-ranked team, the Loyola University Maryland Greyhounds, who are 15-1 this season, but just got past Denver 14-13 in overtime at the ECAC Tournament earlier this month. Flint, a 21year-old finance major, scored once last Saturday in the 9-6 Pioneers' 16-14 win over eighthseeded North Carolina in the round of CAMERON 16. FLINT Orangeville's Jeremy Noble had three goals and seven assists to lead the way. Denver made it to the NCAA semifinals for the first time last year in Baltimore before bowing out to the eventual national-champion Virginia Cavaliers 14-9. The Cavaliers knocked the Princeton Tigers and Georgetown South resident Mike MacDonald out of the NCAA playdowns last weekend with a 6-5 triumph. MacDonald, a freshman, was held off the scoresheet. Another product of the Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs, JJ Laforet, had his season come to an end on Sunday after the Stony Brook (N.Y.) Seawolves lost 19-9 to Johns Hopkins. The 22-year-old junior finance major had an assist in the defeat.
