Cool activities still continue at Georgetown Seniors Centre By FLORENCE RIEHL Georgetown Seniors Centre Summer has arrived with a BANG! Hope you celebrated Canada's 145th birthday on July 1. I didn't even have to leave my balcony to see fireworks in almost every direction. Tuesday, July 3, some of the Active Living programs began their summer session. They include Still Sizzlin', Dance Fitness, and Bone Builder. At last report they were all a go. If you would still like to join one or more of these classes call Sherry at the Centre to confirm availability, 905-8776444. On July 12, from 1-2 p.m., a rep from ComForcare Home care is coming to the Centre to speak about the importance of foot care and how it can be more important than we think, especially if you are diabetic. Free refreshments will be served. Come and bring a friend and hear what's new. Tickets for our raffle are going well. They are $2 for one, $5 for three and $15 for a book of 10. Come and visit our booth at the Farmers' Market on July 14 and 28. We will be located by Heather's Bakery.
