Police blotter Police nab teen break-in suspects One youth is facing charges and another has been diverted to the Halton Youth Justice Program after police stopped two males in connection with a theft from a vehicle on Mill St. in Georgetown Friday evening. Halton Police were called to the area after receiving a report of two males believed to be breaking into vehicles. Officers responded to the area and found two males on foot in the Mill St./ Edith St. area and a black Garmin GPS on the ground. A 16-year-old male was charged with theft under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with a sentence or disposition. A 17-year-old male was not charged, but instead diverted to the Youth Justice program. ··· Approximately $5,380 worth of items including a laptop, program, Canon EOS Rebel camera, and cash were taken from a vehicle parked at a Cochrane Rd., Acton home Saturday between 2 and 11:15 a.m. The owner came out to the vehicle and found the rear hatch was ajar, his wallet, minus the cash in it, was lying outside the car, the glove box was open and contents were on the floor. ··· A small quantity of cash was taken from two vehicles parked in the driveway of a Winston Churchill Blvd. residence between 1 and 8 a.m. Sunday. ··· Between $250 to $700 damage was caused by a sharp object to a 2007 Nissan Quest parked at a Barber Dr. home Friday. The owner found deep scratches to the rear bumper. ··· Golf clubs valued at about $1,900 were stolen from Eagle Ridge Golf Club Sunday sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. The clubs-- of various makes-- were last seen in the golf bag rack at the golf course. who do you know?
