In Focus, August, g 2012 8 ?DÃJ>;ÃB;D Glen Williams was a sea of red and white on July 1 as hundreds of people packed the hamlet for the annual Canada Day in the Glen celebration. The day started bright and early with a pancake breakfast in the park, followed by a series of friendly baseball games. At noon, countless families lined the streets to catch the extremely popular Canada Day parade (see page 12 for those photos), then spent the rest of the afternoon celebrating with live music, games, demonstrations, delicious food and fun. The day was capped off with the popular Canada Day Duck Race, which saw hundreds of rubber duckies float down the Credit River to help raise money for the Georgetown District High School Rebels swim team.
