Honouring youth On Wednesday, Aug. 29 at the Gellert Community Centre, the Town will be recognizing more than 150 youth volunteers from the Recreation and Parks Department who have given more than 8,500 hours of volunteer service to children's programs, events and committees this past year. The ceremony, which begins at 6:30 p.m., includes the presentation of special recognition volunteer awards and will be followed by a reception featuring local musicians and refreshments.
