A registered charity themselves, members of the GLT Youth Company decided to donate a portion of their excess production earnings to the Georgetown Hospital's $6.5M campaign. The money was raised by their recent production of a new adaptation of Jane Eyre's Pride and Prejudice. The group's members are between the ages of 10 and 18. Members of the GLT Youth Company pride themselves on team work. From costume design, lighting, props and acting, the Youth Company believes that team work is vital to a successful production. They have set an example and have conveyed a very important message: it takes a team to put on a performance, as it takes a community to build a hospital, says Fox. The Georgetown Hospital Foundation was pleased to receive this donation and was touched by the generosity of another local charity, she adds.
