The advertisement for the Open House at the Acton Seniors Centre will run in the paper soon. You will see there are excellent speakers and a variety of programs to try. You don't have to a member to take advantage of Open House. If you bring a friend or relative to Open House your name will go in a drum for the chance to win a free 2013 membership. You are also invited to visit the Georgetown Seniors Centre's Open House, which is also that week. 25 Don't forget to purchase your ticket for the dinner and dance on Thursday, Sept. 13. It has a `50s theme and Jukebox will provide the entertainment. Swiss Chalet chicken, baked potato and coleslaw is on the menu followed by delicious pecan pie and ice cream. Can't eat pie? There will be fresh fruit too. The Sept. 7 lunch will be potluck.
