The longtime Halton region rivals in the OJHL's West Division have been split for the 2012-13 campaign as league realignment has switched the Blades to the South Division, meaning that with an interlocking schedule, the Raiders will face Oakville only four times this season instead of six as in past years. They'll meet on Friday in Oakville at 7:30 p.m. at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, with Georgetown playing host to the Blades Saturday night at the Alcott Arena, also at 7:30 p.m. One of the many talented midget-age graduates who figured to play a key role for the Raiders this year, 17-year-old winger Connor Brown of Georgetown, signed with the Ontario Hockey League's Ottawa 67's on Tuesday.
