"The Federation of Canadian Municipalities launched the asset man- agement grant in February, recognizing that the impor- tance of strengthening the ability of cities and towns to better look after their infra- structure," Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette said. "This investment allows the town to plan and study our current and future in- ventory to ensure we con- tinue to provide residents the best value for their tax dollars."The grant will be used to conduct a condition assessment of current as- sets, develop a strategy, work plan and policies to support the municipality in projecting future needs re- garding budgets, mainte- nance and operations.
