You have all heard many times about Lori's interesting culinary ad- ventures, so this week, I wanted to brag about our youngest daughter Stephanie who was involved with a signifi cant event on the Canadian culinary scene last month. Stephanie is the event co-ordina- tor for the exclusive Essex Golf and Country Club in Windsor, Ontario. Their club hosted the Inaugural Gathering of the Canadian National Culinary Team in preparation for the 24th International Culinary Olym- pics in Erfurt, Germany in 2016. Stephanie worked closely with the head chef of the team to provide the highest standard of service to the 139 guests who paid to have this unique experience of dining prepared by Canada's culinary team of 11. Their fi rst international competition will be held in Basel, Switzerland in the fall of 2013. The reception began with several 'action' food stations and entertain- ment, followed by a three course gourmet meal with a live feed for the audience from the Essex Golf and Country Club kitchen. Stephanie and her team received rave reviews on their high level of professional service fi tting to this event. A true feast for the eyes as well as the palate! We wish the team much success as they travel the world rep- resenting Canada and our amazing talented people. Thank you, Stephanie for your part in getting this team successfully through their fi rst public event. Have fun and keep cooking!
