Hike through the Limehouse Conservation Area, the geological heart of the Es- carpment-- through the "Hole in the Wall", a fi ssure in the Escarpment rock. See the remains of an old mill, as well as the lime kilns and powder house that are being restored along Black Creek. Learn more about the forgot- ten industry that fl ourished and was integral to the village of Limehouse in the 1800s. Please dress for the weather and bring insect repellent, sun screen, water and a snack. • The Halton Hills Sports Museum and Resource Centre is displaying memorabilia that recognizes the im- portant contri- bution that sport has played in the Town of Halton Hills. Materials have been dis- played in a pre- sentation that, hopefully, will promote pride in the community, create esteem through sport and recognize contributions of both athletes and volunteers. The Museum's displays honour and perpetuate accomplishments and con- tributions of people from all eras and sports throughout the Town's commu- nities.
