What a wonderful setting for a fashion show and so, after getting agreement fromElizabeth Fashions of Georgetown to bring her wonderful fall fashions to Acton the group sprang into action. Local vendors were called and replied with great enthusiasm to show their wares before and after the show, the Heritage committee welcomed the idea and so we are "Falling into Fashion" on Monday, September 30, at the Heritage Town Hall, Willow St., Acton. Come and join us at 6:30 p.m. and visit a local merchants showcase before the show starts at 7:15 p.m. Tickets only cost $20. All proceeds from the fashion show will go to the Canadian Cancer So- ciety. The room upstairs is just perfect as a setting for beautiful fashions, the tables will be ornately decorated with center- pieces, there will be a refreshment and wine bar, the vendors are excited to bring their fall season offerings and ev- eryone really expects this to be a great evening for the ladies of Halton Hills. The Town Hall boasts a newly in- stalled elevator and for those who have not yet seen the work that has been done by the Heritage Committee a pleas- ant surprise is in store and should be a source of pride for the people of Acton. So, as they say, come one , come all, and join the Acton Branch Of the Cana- dian Cancer Society in the important goal of fundraising for the research so desperately needed to overcome this ter- rible disease as we spend an evening cel- ebrating together the joy of life. For tickets call Liz Bailey, 519-853- 0585 or drop into Acton Optical, Blooms Away, Country Reflections, Ditto's Bou- tique, Smooth Solutions or Staying Alive Fitness.
