Mayor Rick Bonnette spoke to a sold-out crowd of local busi- ness people at the event held at Eagle Ridge Golf Club on Tenth Line Tuesday. It marked his 11th year updating the business com- munity about the state of the town's affairs. "I hope I have left you with the sense that we are riding a real wave of success. And while we have a number of serious challenges ahead of us, I remain very bullish on the future, but then again, I always have been," the mayor told Chamber mem- bers. Bonnette said the Town has adopted a new economic devel- opment branding tool with the theme "Ride the Wave". "I believe it captures the very real wave of prosperity and change in our community ... we are riding a wave that is enhanc- ing our quality of life."
