Jean was pre-deceased by her husband John Charles Bloomer P.Eng. who passed June 1996. John and Jean were married for 48 years. Jean was the daughter of Jean and William Alderson (deceased), sister of William Alderson Jr. (deceased) and Betty Anderson (deceased) who is survived by her husband Robert Anderson. Jean had a long life and was dedicated to her family. While having lived in several pioneering mine sites and towns in northern Ontario and then Salt Lake City, Utah, Toronto was her true home where she spent the last 25 years of her life. Jean is survived by her son Christopher John Charles Bloomer, wife Gianna Attanasio-Bloomer and their children Adam Christopher John Bloomer and his wife Rebecca, Sonja Laura Jean Allerdings and her husband Mathew Allerdings all of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; her daughter Janet Elizabeth Roberson and husband Robert Roberson of Oklahoma City, OK, USA, and her son Ian Kristic and wife Olympia, of Boston, MA, USA.
