Rilley's owner Roy Janke of George- town, said his dog has been doing great and is "as healthy as ever." "He shows no sign of slowing down and is getting himself into trouble as he used to," he said. The local prognosis for the pooch wasn't good in Sept. 2010 when he was diagnosed with meningioma-- a tumour of the me- ninges or lining of the brain. Janke and his wife, Sara Boland-Janke, were told Rilley had only six weeks to live-- with chemo- therapy and anti-seizure medication he may have got a few more months. Surgery was another possibility but their vet said at the time, if Rilley survived the operation he might have neurological defects. The couple was devastated and deter- mined to fi nd a cure for their beloved pet.
