DETROIT, Mi.: The undisputed star of this year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit was the 2014 Corvette Stingray. It marks only the third time since the Corvette was launched in 1954 that the Stingray name has been used-- such is its importance to GM. Shown in coupe form in Detroit, its styling leaves no doubt this is a Corvette but it is easily the sleek- est version yet with a 6.2-litre V8 producing an esti- mated 450 hp and 450 lb/ft of torque and will have a 0-60 mph time of less than four seconds.
