They never asked for a government grant. Instead they leaned on local part- nerships and organizations, generous lo- cal donors, a local builder and subtrades. Everyone pulled together to make the vi- sion of a new building a reality in just two years. In doing so, they have provided a template of how a caring community re- sponds to show its compassion.
