The following materials are accepted free of charge at the HaltonWaste Management Site: • Electronics (computers, printers, and televisions, etc.) - up to 5 items per load • Residential household hazardous waste (paint, batteries, antifreeze, propane tanks, car oil) - up to 20 L per trip, no commercial waste • Used tires - up to 5 tires per load Visit www.halton.ca/waste for a complete list of acceptable materials. Some conditions may apply. Customers are expected to sort their loads by material type. For quick and easy unloading, please pre-sort your loads prior to arriving at HaltonWaste Management Site. If required, customers should bring someone to help unload heavy material. Attendants are not permitted to assist customers with the unloading of materials. Starting April 1, Recycle More Items Halton residents continue to be among the best in Ontario when it comes to diverting waste through programs like recycling and composting.
