Halton Police report the man, who is in his 60s, was using a walk-behind rototiller in his garden about 3:30 p.m. when a mishap caused the machine to come into contact with his leg. Police, EMS and Halton Hills Fire Department responded and firefighters took the machine apart to release the man's leg. A supply of blood was trans- ported from Milton District Hospital. An ORNGE air ambulance respond- ed and airlifted the man to Hamilton General Hospital. A man is loaded into an ORNGE air ambulance Friday afternoon after being injured in a rototiller accident on a farm on Fifth Line in Halton Hills, south of Five Sideroad.
