Acton native returns home with troupe for one night show Gaslight opens Friday Auditions for Globe's fall show next week The Williams Mill Gallery features artist Erin Crowley in a solo exhibition, Raining Texture, at the Williams Mill Gallery from Wednesday, May 22 to Sunday, June 2. Crowley will host the Opening Wine & Cheese Reception on Thursday, May 23, 7-9:30 p.m. in the Gallery. Crowley studied at OCAD, where she earned her Bach- elor of Design in 2007. In 2010, she won a Leadership in Arts and Culture award for the County of Peterbor- ough. She has been featured in several group exhibitions in Vancouver, Toronto and New York City. She has also held solo exhibitions in Pe- terborough and Montreal. Crowley's artwork is considered mixed media on canvas. She builds texture by pressing found natural objects such as leaves, into acrylic plas- ter, and works on top of the texture with acrylic paints and gel mediums. Her artwork is inspired by natural landscapes and the duality of land versus sky.
