DivorceCare is benefi cial to individuals who fi nd themselves separated, divorced or experienc- ing the end of a long-term rela- tionship. "A major difference we ex- perience is that in death, loved ones unite and grow closer together while through separation and divorce, loved ones feel that they need to take sides," says Gary, one of the Divorce- Care facilitators. "So many of our participants tell me that they are in the most painful and stressful experience they have ever faced. We are here to walk alongside those struggling with separation and divorce-- one of life's most diffi cult experi- ences to offer encouragement and support." DivorceCare is an internationally-recognized Christ-centered recovery support group. The group meets 7-9 p.m. weekly for 13 weeks. The material covered in each session is independent from the previous week meaning that participants can join the program any time during the 13 weeks. The support group is led by people who understand what par- ticipants are going through and are there to help each participant discover true healing.
