Photo by Jon Borgstrom Outlets job fair draws more than 2,000 More than 2,000 job-seekers showed up at the Toronto Premium Outlets Job Fair in Milton Thursday with the hope of landing one of the 800 full and part-time positions at the centre set to open August 1. Job candidates began lining up well before the doors opened and organizers remained beyond the scheduled close to accommodate crowds. By the end of the day many of the posi- tions were fi lled with several retailers report- ing they had hired complete teams for their stores. "Hiring Managers were impressed by the number and quality of the candidates," said Megan Johnson, General Manager of Toron- to Premium Outlets. "Attendees were equally excited about the opportunity to work with some of the great retail brands that will be part of the centre." The day-long fair was held at the Milton Sports Centre because no venue in Halton Hills could accommodate the large turnout.
