On the first day eligible to announce candidacy, Waldo Paquete of Moun- tainview Rd. filed his nomination papers to run as a local councillor in Ward 4 and while Coun- cillor Dave Kentner filed to run again in Ward 3. On Monday, Rob Boleychuk of Glen Williams filed his papers to run as a lo- cal councillor in Ward 2. Candidates for mayor, town and re- gional councillors, school board trustees, and re- gional chair have until Sept. 12 to file their nomi- nation papers.
