The weekend began with a surprise 2-1 triumph on Friday evening over the host Aurora Tigers, who are the runaway leaders of the OJHL's North Di- vision with a 31-10-3 mark. Richard Court and Liam Board scored for Georgetown in the victory and rookie net- minder Michael McNiven was named first star for making 35 saves, including a clutch penal- ty-shot stop in the final minute of regulation time. McNiven chalked up his fifth shutout of the campaign at home Saturday, turning aside 34 shots in a 6-0 trouncing of the Jr. Canadiens. Hladin (4), Kyle Allan and Steven Mueller were the goal scorers. The 19-year-old Hladin teamed up with one of the top prospects for this year's On- tario Hockey League draft to prevail over the Jr. Canadiens 7-6 Sunday night in Etobicoke. Hladin had four goals and two assists while 15-year-old Adam Mascherin, who was called up by the Raiders from the Vaughan minor midget AAA Kings, scored once and helped set up five other goals.
