Douglas Brady Bell, 28, was found without vital signs near Kennedy and Old School Road just before midnight on Saturday (Feb. 22). Peel EMS and Caledon fire- fighters transported him to a Brampton hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released how he died and won't while the case is under investiga- tion, said Caledon OPP officer Brenda Evans. An old friend, who asked not to be identified, remem- bered Bell as a "very happy- go-luck dude." "He was a really good- hearted guy," said the friend. The former George- town resident had moved to Orangeville recently for a job, according to the friend. A graduate of Georgetown District High School, Bell was remembered as an open per- son who loved all types of mu- sic and animals. "He absolutely loved his dogs," said the friend, adding he recently took in a new Box- er puppy named Max. "That was one of his main things was his animals."
