Between the salary and ben- efits as Mayor of Halton Hills ($72,770) and his compensation from Halton Region ($53,123), Rick Bonnette cleared the $100,000 mark at $125,893, but didn't actually make the Sunshine List for 2013. For the Halton District School Board, director David Euale was the highest paid employee at $227,880, while his counterpart at the Halton Catholic board, Michael Pautler, pulled in $202, 224.38. Meanwhile, Halton Region had nearly 500 people named on the 2013 Province of Ontario Sunshine list. The list featured such returning figures as Commissioner and Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Nosal, who received $302,162.87 in salary and taxable benefits in 2013. Assistant Medical Officer of Health and Di- rector of Chronic Disease and Oral Health Dr. Monir Taha took home $263,670.59, while Hal- ton's Chief Administrative Officer Jane Mac- Caskill earned $264,815.76 while Halton Re- gion Chair Gary Carr's pay clocked in at $170,121.80.
