The amendment will implement corridor protection on lands within the GTAWest Preliminary Route Planning Study Area, and phase the supply of urban employment lands in the area west of Eighth Line, north of Steeles Avenue. Other Applications: The Town of Halton Hills will initiate a land use planning exercise (Secondary Plan) and a Local Official Plan Amendment for those lands, under the Planning Act, filed at the Town of Halton Hills (File D08/HA).
