We are looking forward to the New Members Gathering on May 27, at 1 p.m. This is an opportunity for new members to learn more about our Centre, meet oth- er new members, and share a cup of tea. I hope you have replied to your invita- tion to the "Thanks a latte", celebrating volunteers in our community. Come out on Tuesday, June 10, 6-8 p.m. Mayor Rick Bonnette and members of Council are tak- ing this time to thank all our many Halton Hills volunteers. The month of June is set aside as Se- niors' Month. Our Centre will celebrate a little differently this year. On Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. we meet at the Gellert Community Centre to take an instructed walk on one of their trails and learn how to use your free pedometer. After the walk, join in a demonstration and question and answer session with a Family Golf Academies Pro. This will be followed with a picnic on the patio to cel- ebrate Seniors' Month.
