We are looking forward to the New Members Gathering on May 27, at 1 p.m. This is an opportunity for new members to learn more about our Centre, meet oth- er new members, and share a cup of tea. I hope you have replied to your invita- tion to the "Thanks a latte", celebrating volunteers in our community. Come out on Tuesday, June 10, 6-8 p.m. Mayor Rick Bonnette and members of Council are tak- ing this time to thank all our many Halton Hills volunteers. The month of June is set aside as Se- niors' Month. Our Centre will celebrate a little differently this year. On Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. we meet at the Gellert Community Centre to take an instructed walk on one of their trails and learn how to use your free pedometer. After the walk, join in a demonstration and question and answer session with a Family Golf Academies Pro. This will be followed with a picnic on the patio to cel- ebrate Seniors' Month. Please RSVP to Sherry or Terri, 905-873-2601 ext. 2271. The 50/50 draw will continue through the summer months. Remember to drop in, drop your toonie in the box and sign the book. Open to members only. Sandwich Tuesday will be discontinued mid June and resume again in September. Sign up sheets are available for the following trips: Buttertart Trail, June 17; Hamilton Harbour Cruise, July 15; and A Closer walk with Patsy Cline, Aug. 13; and Cabaret, Sept. 11.
