On the same day she wrote to Omar Rashid of Microsoft Canada: "Omar, please confirm hole sponsor, 4-some and bronze sponsorship would be great." In April 2009, to Doug Munro, the head of Maritime Ontario and the cur- rent chair of Fennell's gala board, she wrote: "May I request that you consid- er a silver sponsorship (12,500.00)".
